Bio - Woodworker, Fabricator

Ash Dipert is a maker, focused on creating bespoke sculptural furniture that draws from his many travels and experiences. After being raised in five countries and working as a Visual Effects Compositor in Los Angeles, he chose to go back to his roots and travel. Some round- the-world trips and whirlwind freight train adventures through the US, led him to focus on furniture and its relationship with contemporary art.

In Ash's work, objects of steel and wood are created to not only be compelling forms, but represent motion, either in assembly or function. Learning many disciplines, from marquetry to CNC machining has taught him how to push the boundary of material. He aims to preserve the handmade marketplace and make objects that last and inspire.
